Channing and I have gone to the Daddy Daughter Dance for the last two years at Oaktree.  It is one of the most enjoyable things I have ever done.  She loves to dance and loves her Daddy.  If you look in my videos you can see her dancing.

First of all, let me say I have nothing against handycapped people.  With that said, in my lifetime I have only seen two actual handicapped people(by this I mean on crutches or in a wheel chair) get out of their special handicap vehicle.  I am sure the government mandates 4 handicap parking spaces in front of Starbucks in this small strip mall but it is rediculous.  I stop by here almost every day and these 4 or 5 spaces go wasted probably because of the ADD law. 

Lets talk global warming.  Why do we waste so much parking space for people that never show up and don't even exists in the quantities we build spaces for.  Lets change the law to reduce handicapped parking in half and put in a tree garden in the remaining spaces.  I don't mind walking further, this would help the environment, beautify our landscape and generaly make the world a more pleasant place.

 

 

Channing really enjoys dancing.  We have this at the Country Club every year.  Channing will be 3 next week.  This is one of our favorite things to do every year.  She ask about it all the time.  "I want to go to the Daddy Daughter Dance."
