Tonight Deia and I are going to a Halloween party. I am going as Roger Clemens. When I travel people always think I am him so I should really look like him in an Astro's uniform. Deia is going as a bat girl. She looks hot!! Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes and post a few pictures.

The power of money... Yesterday evening, Deia and I decided to drive to Kansas and purchase Powerball Tickets. The jackpot had risen to $340 million dollars. It is amazing that we would load up both kids and drive 4 hours round trip for a 1 in 146 million chance of winning. Anyway, the return trip was discussed on how we would spend the money. I think in general, it is probably better that most people not win the lottery. I don't know the statistics but I would suspect a sudden windfall like causes more problems and unhappiness than one would suspect.

I spent the entire day getting my high speed cable internet working. Cox came out in the morning and checked the line and rewired where the cable modem connects to the main cable line. They said it was fixed. Things still didn't work so the cable guy just blamed it on my network. I had completely checked my network and suspected the modem. The Cox cable guy told me to get a Linksys. So I drive all the way to best buy and buy one. When I call in to have them configure it, they tell me that they don't support Linksys anymore. Good grief, I then drive to Cox's offices and get a new Motorola modem. They configure it for me at the office by scanning in its ID. I get home, put the new modem on and WALAH. Everything works perfectly. It should be a relief to all the guys at the office since I had been calling them up with systems problems that were really just a bad modem.

Guthrie's 9th grade Sante Fe High School football team played PC North last night. They won 13 to 7. Guthrie plays wide out receiver and last night Michael the quarterback really didn't have much time to throw so he did't have a reception. Anyway, they are 7-0 with two games left to an undefeated season.

Well, I got up this morning and ran a couple of miles. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be since I hadn't ran in a month. Deia made eggs and coffey. She makes the best scrambled eggs. Perfect. Anyway, I ate oatmeal as I promised and a few bites of eggs. There are always a lot of things to do on Mondays. We had our ONEsite status meeting today. There is a lot to do for our October 31st launch but I think we can make it. Just need everyone working much more organized and intense.

Well, I turned 44 today. It seems really weird to me that I'm 44. I don't think I look 44 but my body is starting to feel its age. I've had a few health issues this year that I never experienced before. This year I am going to focus on getting more exercise and eating better. I would like to loose some weight. I think I'll also really look into taking herbs and vitamins that may be useful. I'll eat more oatmeal and salmon too. Except for my aging body, I generally feel pretty good about things. Business is going good. My family life is great. I have a wonderful wife that makes me smile and four incredibly diverse and different children. My two older boys are growing up and doing very well. My youngest son is always entertaining and my new daughter, well, my 8 month old daughter has made my life.
