I spent the entire day getting my high speed cable internet working. Cox came out in the morning and checked the line and rewired where the cable modem connects to the main cable line. They said it was fixed. Things still didn't work so the cable guy just blamed it on my network. I had completely checked my network and suspected the modem. The Cox cable guy told me to get a Linksys. So I drive all the way to best buy and buy one. When I call in to have them configure it, they tell me that they don't support Linksys anymore. Good grief, I then drive to Cox's offices and get a new Motorola modem. They configure it for me at the office by scanning in its ID. I get home, put the new modem on and WALAH. Everything works perfectly. It should be a relief to all the guys at the office since I had been calling them up with systems problems that were really just a bad modem.
